This presentation integrates an author
study with a "Bunny" theme. Ideas can easily be incorporated into a Spring
/ Easter unit. Demonstrations encourage an interdisciplinary approach and
provide strategies for developing critical thinking skills. Participants
will receive many ideas for "hands-on" activities and a handout will be
provided.

you and your students with a jumpin', jivin' and jitterbuggin' curriculum.

Come play! Come play with plastic
stamps instead of sponges. It is easy for a child of any age or skill level
to succeed. A hands-on workshop with paper and fabric will give art project
ideas, integrating curriculum themes and special events. Teachers can create
their own art. Paint a Brown Bear Book, a Fall Tree book and a windsock.
Leave with articles painted as well as a hand out of instructions and ideas
given in presentations.

learning is the key to success for ALL students. The unacknowledged
design flaw of education is the time bound classroom and school organization.
Under the present structure, there is not enough quality teaching and learning
time available.
Jim will discuss the ineffectiveness
of the "fixed-point curriculum in a fixed amount of time" concept of the
lock-step school system and why it places many students at risk for school
success.
