FEATURED SPEAKERS




Jane Kitson has a B.S. in Elementary Education with over 150 additional hours in continuing education for the early childhood classroom. She has taught in classrooms with toddlers through second graders for over 15 years.

She was recognized by the Georgia Preschool Association in 1996 and presented a DISTINGUISHED CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION for outstanding educators in early childhood.

She currently provides hands-on workshops for educators nationally and exciting circle time experiences for children in Metro Atlanta.
 

Carol Gossett is President-Elect of the California Kindergarten Association. She is a Research Fellow and writer for the AIMS Education Foundation and adjunct faculty for Fresno Pacific University. Carol's 20 plus years of classroom experience coupled with her work in research and responsibilities with CKA give her a well rounded approach to teaching the young child.
 

David Cooper lives and works in Livermore, California, where he is the principal of Jackson Avenue Elementary School. His wife Sheila is the principal of Livermore High School. His professional career has included teaching in grades K-9 and community college. He and long time colleague Lynn Taylor are co-authors of The Pocket Book: Integrating the Primary Curriculum Through Themes. They work with teachers, leading workshops and seminars nationally. In addition to his professional interests, David is active in theatre arts appearing in local productions.
 

Lynn Taylor is enjoying her 25th year in the primary classroom at Sawmill School in Tewksbury Township, N.J. Recently named county Teacher of the Year, Lynn has worked actively with teachers across the country for 17 years in all areas of whole learning. She and her California partner, David Cooper, are co-authors of The Pocket Book, a nationally-known resource for teachers.
